Kathy Ponder Blog: Provider Appreciation Day is May 7

April 20, 2010 · Filed Under Campus News

Provider Appreciation Day, on May 7, is a special day to recognize childcare providers and teachers of young children everywhere.

Started in 1996 by a group of volunteers in New Jersey, Provider Appreciation Day is appropriately celebrated each year on the Friday before Mother’s Day. The founders saw the need to recognize the tireless efforts of providers who care for children of working parents. Momentum and support for this event has grown each year.

We are collecting monetary donations for our annual teacher appreciation lunch. You may place your donation in the payment box in the front hallway.

Thank you so much for your support!
