Howie Hanson Column: Haiti
Worthy Cause Concert Sunday
A Haiti Worthy Cause concert will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at Chester Park United Methodist Church (819 North 18th Ave. East in Duluth). The event will feature live Haitian music by guest violinist Rudy Perrault and storytelling by Elizabeth Nordell. A reception featuring Haitian food will follow the event. A free-will offering will be taken for the Kako Foundation, which provides funding for underprivileged students to study music and enable them to reach their fullest potential.
